Metaphysical Studies
...is a series of pieces, some of them in the form of text scores, which are based on philosophical texts describing metaphysical elements and systems to be converted into sound, movement and technical solutions. They are executed by using free improvisation as a discipline on which the more fixed systems could rely. This turns them into fixed improvisations with a strong hint of game nature. The pieces evoke a search for new meanings and possibilities in a situation where performative arts are put in the function of metaphysical systems..
